On May 1st the 5th and 6th class boys had a soccer tournament in Lees road.

We played three games against Kilmaley, Miltonbalby and  lissycasey.

We lost 5 to 1 against Kilmaley. We won 2-1 against miltown Malbay.

We were unlucky  to draw against lissycasey in the last minute as

we were winning the whole game.We came 2nd in the group

we had a great day.

The worry box is a creation designed by jack muggivan . The worry box

is to help children say there opinions and problems . They simply write

there problems on a piece of paper and slip it into the worry box . And the teachers will read them and give them to the student council and then the student council will deal with the problems .

A girl in 4th had an idea to start a book club lots of people whant to join . The first meeting will be on

wendsday 10th April 2019 on big break .

We will get books from the Library  . Ages 7-12 can join .

 

Today the 4/4/2019/ we made head bands for the jumble sale.This Saturday and Sunday the  6/4/2019 and the  7/4/2019 at the Mountshannon hall.

 

1.The church is on a edge of the small town mountshannon .

David donoghue came to our school on the 1/4/2019/.David talked to us about his books.David taught us to talk backwards he was very good at it.David gave us certificates for talking and spelling backwards.

Today we made Stone Age cave art.We used pastel and charcoal.

Today we listened to the sounds of some animals and things recorded by slévek kwi he is the dad of a boy in our school.

Today we planted carrots it was fun everyone planted one carrot.We first got string  and lollipop sticks then we made the holes in the soil then we put the seeds in the holes . And are onions have sprouted a little bit
